This winter, Nakshatra Foundation, with the support of Saurabh Tiwari and the Hon’ble Minister of State for Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Danish Azad Ansari, organized a blanket distribution drive for underprivileged and needy people.
As temperatures dropped, the initiative focused on providing warmth and comfort to those who struggle to protect themselves from the harsh winter cold. Blankets were distributed among people in need, bringing not only physical warmth but also a message of care, dignity and humanity.

For many families and individuals living on the streets, in temporary shelters, or without sufficient resources, winter can be extremely challenging. A simple blanket can provide much-needed protection from the cold and help make a difficult night a little more comfortable. During the distribution drive, blankets were provided to needy individuals and families, particularly those who face the greatest difficulties during the winter months. The team interacted with beneficiaries, understood their needs and extended support with compassion and respect. Nakshatra Foundation believes that social responsibility is not limited to financial support—it is about being present, understanding people’s struggles and taking action where it matters most. Through initiatives like this, the Foundation aims to encourage more individuals, organizations and community leaders to come forward and contribute towards building a more caring and inclusive society.
